Why we love our Thermomix

The Thermomix from Vorwerk has also been available on the US market for some time. The kitchen device described as the “German iPhone” is very popular in Germany. The Americans criticize, however, the exceptionally high price of 1300 dollars. I explain in this article why my wife and I still can’t do without it.

First of all: the manufacturer of this device does not pay me. Neither my wife nor I have any connections to Vorwerk, and the article does not contain any affiliate links. I’m just thrilled with the device and want to explain why.

When the Thermomix was launched in the USA, many experts tested it immediately. Everyone praised the design, functionality, and versatility of the device.

But almost all testers like Brian Koerber, Joe Ray or Adi Robertson are extremely annoyed by the price of 1300 dollars.

The unanimous opinion of the experts: The Thermomix is a luxury appliance for wealthy people who cannot cook, and it only takes up space in the kitchen.

I was original of the same opinion, but since my wife persuaded me to buy it, I can no longer imagine cooking traditionally.
